RE: Tearing down the layout at The RailYard
Ira,
SAMRA is aware that we may have a smaller layout than normal. I think they
will take whatever size we can set up but I agree that the set up controller
needs to plan ahead.
Saturday morning setup is also an option or we could start on Friday and
finish on Saturday. The biggest factor on setup is when Ed plans on towing
the trailer to San Antonio. Even if we go on Friday, the time of arrival
may also effect who can show up on Friday. Do you have a time yet Ed?
Once again I also agree with you that this is not a show worth attending but
in the past its been up to the board to decide whether we attend or not
attend a show. The board voted on attending and since then I haven'nt heard
much from them one way or another. If the board once to cancel or if the
rules have changed and any member can sign the club up for a show or cancel
a show, let me know.
