The club will be running trains on Tuesday August 14 from 9:00 am to
about 12 noon at the Westlake Hills Presbyterian Church located at 7127 Bee
Caves Road. This will be for a non profit group that provides free day
care to people with Alzheimers Disease. There is an Event Coordination
Document on the Web page. Please go to the web page and sign up if you
can help with this event. Mike and/or Adrian, can you make your small
layouts available and how can we get them to bring to the event? Unless
of course, you will be participating and can bring them. Let us know via
the coordination document.

The Gathering
I've got a ford explorer which
should allow me to get them inside possible on an angle. I'll be OOT
with the explorer returning Mon evening so some one would have to get them to
my house so I can load them Tues am. I won't have any help loading so
that may be a factor.
Who else is coming to the
event? I can't do it by myself.
My goal was not to take over this
event or even become the coordinator, just help facilitate the
communication. We'll need power, trains (old toy type would be the best)
and I don't have either. I do have a station as an accessory but
we need more than that.

Bob,
Both Mike Graziano and Adrian Elliott have offered to allow us to use
their 4 X 6 layouts for running trains at The Gathering. Do you have a
way to carry one of them to this event? If so, can you contact one
of them to set it up. If not, let me know. If you can, there is
also the possibility of getting both and running two trains. Just an
option. Let me know.
Thanks,
David
