Hi everyone.
I just created the event document for the two month long downtown layout. We will be there from November 20th through January 15th. Setup will be November 19th at 6:30pm and teardown will be on Sunday the 16th of January.
WE NEED SOMEONE TO TOW THE TRAILER TO SETUP AND BACK.
Please sign up on the event document and let me know in the “other notes” section which days and times you can obligate to be there. We need to have the layout staffed from 12PM to 5PM each Saturday except X-Mas day and New Years Day.
The days are:
November 20th
November 27th
December 4th
December 11th
December 18th
January 8th
January 15th
In addition, the layout will be available to members every day from November 20th through January 15th. You are welcome to run trains whenever you want. The code to the door lock is the same as the trailer.
This will be another big event for us. In addition to selling the $5.00 raffle tickets for the Hogwarts starter set over 5 weekends, we will again allow the public to pay for the use of a TMCC set on track 4. I will have a small TMCC freight set which people can pay $5 to operate for 10 minutes. This time limit worked well last year.
There is also a donation box to be placed on the layout. The clear lexan box should be placed on the layout where visitors can see it while you are there, and put behind the counter during off hours.
