Yes, please do bring your conventional engines and we'll set aside plenty of time to run them.  Conventional engines and traditional trains are at the heart of the Tinplate Trackers.  Our heritage.

 

And by all means bring the younger generation, your children and grandchildren.  They're the future of our hobby and our club.  We'll see to it that they run lots of trains.

 

This is intended to be a FUN run for Children of ALL ages.  That would include me.

 

My apologies to those of you who wanted to start early and and leave early.  I hope you will see fit to adjust to the Noon start.

I'm pleased to announce that the Saturday, 24 July Fun Run is ON!! 

 

Hours are now Noon to 6 pm.  (They were previously 10 am to 6 pm). The slightly reduced hours are base on projected participation.

 

Thanks to those of you who have already signed up -- AND -- to those of you who took the time to tell me you can't make it.  Both inputs helped me with planning.

 

Now that we know we're in business, if any of the rest of you find out you can make it at the last minute, please join us.

 

Stay as short or long a period as you wish.  Bring trains, watch others run them or run mine.

 

No need to let me now in advance.  But, a heads up is always appreciated.  Email me or call me at 512-663-4599.

 

Oh, and with a smaller group we WILL be able to set aside more time to run Conventional engines.
