Not a problem with me. I think that there are some construction details
that need to be determined and face to face might be easier than in
email. I am game for anything.
What I am hearing from those that have replied is that it is a good idea
and that the members want this addition to our layout. With Bills
generous offer, the cost will likely not be that great. We would need to
have a budget approved. I think the special module aspect can be dealt
with rather quickly since the track would be standard. I think there
needs to be some electronics for safety of the trains. I would like to
know how that will be addressed.
I think a committee could move the ball forward faster with the needed
details. There needs to be someone in charge that is gathering the ideas
and implementing the ones that make sense. They could provide
some
sketches of the construction and assembly and recommend a way to store,
transport and set up before the construction starts. That is all I would
like to see. If that can be handled on email, no problem here.
