Understood Bill. WE have gotten some response and it will be good to
fill in these summer months when we do not have many shows to attend with other
activities.
Hi All,
What I really meant to say is one of the reasons I'm building my layout
is to share it with others. So, most times that the club has an
open date and nobody to fill it we can have a Fun Run on my layout if the club
wishes to do so. Just let me know in time to settle on a date and
publicize it to the members.
And the rest of what I really meant to say is that I would look forward
to running trains on other member's layouts as a club event in addition to
Shows.
And finally, once I get the layout up and running again after the latest
improvements you're all welcome to give me a call and arrange to drop in
and run trains for an hour or two between club events. For
example, maybe you have a new locomotive or the like and want to see how
it runs right away and a club Fun Run or Show is weeks away. You're
welcome to call me and arrange to and come over and run it.
Conventional or Command.

Hi Scott (and Trackers)
Scott, in answering the call, if you'all would like to do another
Fun Run at my place just let me know. I'm currently adding a second Z
4000 transformer which will give me 4 power districts instead of the two we
had during the Fun Run. And I'm wiring the mainline switches for
non-derailing and remote switching using the CAB-1 or CAB-2 or
pushbuttons. So, there will be changes a-plenty by late June or early
July.
Since we recently did a Fun Run here, I'd like to see and run on
someone else's layout next to "spread the fun" across the club. I've
seen Steve Wise's new layout and it's totally awesome. So, I'd be in
favor of doing his first if he can get it up and running.
But, if it turns out nobody else can do it we can have one here.
Rgds,
Bill

that said, we could use some activities for the club after the work day
before e the next show in the fall. We would be open to home
layout tours. We had a great time at Bill's earlier this year.
Who else would like the club to come
over?
Hey all,
My home layout, The
Tonkowa & Berry Creek RR, is under construction. But maybe I
can host a tour in july or august. I need at least one main line +
the engine yard running first though.
The layout design was by Don
Cardiff and the benchwork construction was done by Dave Cardiff last
month. Layouts by Cardiff: www.dctrains.com.
Here are some pictures starting
with the room finish out and up to the latest trackwork that is going on
now:

I'll be
updating the pictures
regularly.
Cheers!
Steve.
