I am fooling around with the notion of buying an MTH Russian decapod.
Admittedly they were rare in this part of Texas, but I can imagine one turning
up on a tourist railroad somewhere.
Does anyone have any experience with running one on trackage similar to the
club modules? I'd like to be forewarned about any nasty surprises.

PS For those who are interested: There is/was an ex Frisco Russian decapod
at the railroad museum at the State Fair of Texas which will be joining the
migration to Frisco, Texas should the museum relocate there. Also, the
Kansas City Southern's Louisiana and Arkansas subsidiary owned some, as did the
Kansas City, Mexico, and Orient. MTH's tender doesn't match the Frisco
version.
