Re: New Braunfels Model Railroad Jamboree

Ira and Mike (as Event Coordinator),

I've signed up for setup and intend to be there all day Saturday.  Must  leave Sunday as a "maybe" at this point because one of my sons and his wife (in Dallas) are expecting a new baby in late March.

Will the club's new Legacy system be ready for the show  or would you like to use my Legacy system with the new hi-gain antenna?  And if the club's system is ready I could just bring the hi-gain antenna and my Legacy expansion base and CAB-2.

If you choose to use Legacy, whether mine or the club's, I can also bring my battery charger and spare CAB-2 metal nihydride batteries like I did for WGH.  By the way, at WGH neither CAB-2 ran low or out of battery power and they seemed to be in more or less constant use with relatively little time spent sitting in their cradles recharging.  There's a switch on the Legacy base to turn off the charger if we every need to revert to standard batteries -- by the way.

Whatever of the above works for you, just let me know.

Rick or Ricky can bring my Legacy system it back if I'm unable to attend on Sunday.

Bill

Hi,

The New Braunfels Model Railroad Jamboree is less than two weeks away, and
we don't have enough people signed up to justify participating in this show.

Please sign up on the event coordination document
(http://aoot.com/ttat/private/display_event_data.cgi?fileName=NBHRMS_2009)
ASAP so we know who is planning to come to this show.

Thanks.

Ira
