The show schedule is:

   January 31/Feb 1  SAMRA
   February 21/ 22     World's Greatest Hobby (WGH)
   March 21/22           New Braunfels Model Railroad Jamboree

We have two weekends (Feb 7/8 and Feb 14/15) between SAMRA and WGH.
We have three weekends (Feb 28/March 1, March 7/8, and March 14/15) between
WGH and New Braunfels.

I agree we should set up during those gaps, if there is enough interest in running
trains during those weekends.  Lately, there has been a drop off in member
participation at The Railyard.  For example, there were only three members
there last Saturday (plus Ricky's train!).  I will usually show up when the layout
is open, but I don't really need to run trains between those shows.

If we do set up, we should either set up on Saturday morning so we can have a full
afternoon to run trains or set up during the week.

When we set up at The Railyard in October, we set up in the morning and only a couple
of people stayed to run trains in the afternoon.  In the past, when we were tearing down the
layout, I had scheduled a Fun Run from around 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, then teardown at
3:00 PM.  Most people only showed up for the teardown (which is why I only scheduled
a teardown for January 24, 2009).  If people don't want to stay to run trains after setting
up the layout, it doesn't seem worth the trouble to set up for the two weekends in February,
and it may not make sense to set up in March either.  If people will run trains on both
setup and teardown days, then it makes sense to me.

We should maintain our presence at The Railyard so the landlord will keep inviting us back
when he has an unleased space we can use.
