I hate sounding so negative (even though I usually do), but this has been discussed
in the past.

I agree it would be nice to build cross-track transition modules like this one.  We have
talked about this type of design several times in the past.  Even though it is an
interesting idea, there never seems to be much interest in bothering to do it.

Also, we would probably need a pair of modules so trains could transfer in either
direction (i.e. from the outside towards the center or vice versa).

Even though I like the concept, I am not convinced that this is worth our while to pursue.
