For the trailer decals you should also get a quotation from CompuSigns located at S. Lamar & 6th. St., they are usually very inexpensive. Ask for the logo in a RTA Decal. (476-7446)
I think a annual assessment is unfair to those members who paid for the lifetime membership. An assessment is basically another form of annual dues. If the club is going to start using assessments then we should do away with the annual dues option and require all members to pay the Lifetime fee upon entering the club. That way all members are paying the same amount.
Regarding the TIU, my experience with it has been that Protosound2 engines only run in command on track 2, they don't get a good enough signal to run in command on the other tracks however they do get enough signal that they won't run in conventional on those other tracks which means that if you have a Protosound 2 engine you must run it on track 2 or not at all. Even on track 2 I have had a lot of difficulty adding a engine to the TIU setup. THIS HAS BEEN MY EXPERIENCE, YOURS MAY BE DIFFERENT! I love the features of the DCS system when it works but frankly if barely works on our club layout. If it can't work reliably on all four tracks I say it needs to be removed. TMCC works on all four tracks, and you can run conventional on all four tracks. DCS just wan't designed to work with the way our layout was wired.
