December fun run

I volunteered to coordinate this club activity.  I would like everyone to
put the Dec. 9,10 and 11th on their calendar for train club activities.

First, we will set up Fri. after work or possibly earlier depending on
participation.  I will make a show coordination document on the web page
soon so sign up when you are available.

On Sat. we will gather at the Branch Creek club house in the late morning
and run trains until early evening.  This is the big day for the event. 
Everyone should plan on bringing the train items that they would like to
swap or sell.  There are a lot of round tables at the club house and some
card tables but if you want more display area, bring your own tables.  If
everyone brings some things, we could have more things for sale than some
of the shows we attend.  Also, remember that this is right before
Christmas.  In addition to the swap meet, we are planning a cook out for
lunch.  Plan on bringing your family. We will need to know who is
planning on attending so can have a chance on getting the food close.

Sunday, we will again be able to run trains for several hours and then
take down the layout.  WE can also continue the sale opportunities.  

This is the current planing for this activity so I hope everyone puts it
on their calendar.
