Re: Temple Model Train Show
One more word for the new members. We can get in the hall before it is
opened to the public. It will be open quite early if anyone wants to
have time to set up something or get a train on the track. We should try
to have all 4 tracks working when it opens.
The Fat controller is the person who is to keep the tracks going and
switching members every so often. He runs the railroad in simple terms.
It seems to work to have about hour shifts or up to 2 hours. We prefer
not to switch trains on all tracks at the same time. sign up for a track
( if we have our board) and set up on the siding so the trains can be
switched quickly. Preference is not to set up a train on the mainline.
If you are using engine 1 for a command engine ask if anyone else is
using that number ( it can be written on the board if there). It makes
for a wreck if two people use the same number. Let the fat controller
know if you are ready to get off a track so the next person can be
notified. We want all 4 tracks going.
See you there.
