Re: Fun Runs

In attendance were: Stevo, Ira, Bob Miller, Ron Baker, Mike & Hunter, Rick,
plus Craig and a few others!

We had a handful of visitors too.

All in all, a good fun run! I ran a SP daylight train with an Atlantic
steamer. Plus some freight with my GP9 and SD35. Ira had his new subway
train. Bob had a Challenger or some such beast pulling some good freight
plus a few doodlebugs. Mike & Hunter brought theirs trains and ran them,
although a few engines had problems. Mike, that protosounds 1 unit is
probably dead due to letting the battery run low. PS1 units had this
problem. You can get them reprogrammed I think. Ron ran a pair texas
specials, plus maybe some others? I don't remember exactly.

I had a blast...it's been too long since I last ran my trains.

Stevo.

fun runs. The dates are August 21(that's this coming weekend), August 28,
and September 4.

fun runs are really easy to coordinate because there is no trailer tow,
setup, or teardown to manage. All you have to do is get the key from the
Collectible Caboose which is in the same complex and open up the layout.
Then have fun running trains and lock up the layout after the fun run. It's
even in town.

September 15. This is an important meeting as we will hold club elections
and then have an open round table discussion about what we as a club want to
do next year.

site and indicate if you will be able to join us at the upcoming Temple and
Flatonia events. The Board and the Event Coordinator use the coordination
document to tell if we have enough particiaption to do an event so it is
important. If you can't use the coordination document just let us know to
fill it out for you by E-mailing us at ttat-board@aoot.com.
