RE: Fw: Lionel train collection for sale
Friday night Craig and I went over to see what John had for sale. His
warehouse is in the Ben White/Montopolis Road area and is easy to find.
Some of his items included: 362 Freight Station w/OB; several sets of 022
switches w/OB; 362 Barrell loader w/OB; 394 Rotary Beacon w/OB; 681 turbine
with 2671 tender; 2343 Santa Fe ABA and the 2530 series passenger cars (all
with original boxes and shipping box for the ABA units); 262E steamer and
tender w/OB; several other cars and accessories. I'd say everything was
excellent or better and reasonably priced.
He also has some old toys, erector set, etc. a new craftsman table saw with
stand and extended table; and 10 'workbench' style tables that are wired
with electrical outlets for $40.00 each. You could put these together and
have a good start for a layout.
It sounds like he's working with the group that puts items on EBAY for
individuals. They will becoming out early next week to take pictures so if
you're interested in anything you'll need to call him soon.
