Austin Model Railroad Jamboree

Craig Berry of The Collectible Caboose has arranged for us to use a vacant store in The Railyard.
He has arranged for insurance and the Certificate of Occupancy. The electric power should be
turned on for us sometime on Monday.

When we return from Flatonia on Sunday, October 26 we will drop the trailer off behind the store
in Cedar Park (instead of leaving it at Branch Creek Estates). We can then unload the trailer
anytime that week, before the Austin Model Railroad Jamboree on Saturday, November 1.
We will leave the layout set up until our next event (hopefully Austin GATS in January) or until
the landlord leases the store, whichever comes first.

I created an event coordination document on our web site for this event. Please indicate your
participation at this event. In the notes section please indicate when you can be there running
trains on Saturday or Sunday (or both) and when you can help us setup the layout. We need to
unload the trailer and setup the layout sometime next week. Since we don't know when the
power will be turned on, I suggest not committing to a Monday setup. That gives us Tuesday
through Friday. We can get into the store at any time (if I coordinate it with Craig), so we
could setup during the day or in the evening. We could also do a partial setup over several
days (i.e. unload the trailer one day or evening and actually setup the layout another time).

Please let me know (via the event coordination document) ASAP when you think you can run
trains during the weekend - I need to send that information to Tom Pearson before the end
of this week so he can include us on the layout tour.

After the jamboree we can leave the layout set up and members can run trains any time they
want. You need to get the key from Craig at The Collectible Caboose. Normal store hours
are Monday through Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM and Thursday
from 10 AM to 8 PM. If you want to run trains at any other time, just contact Craig at his store
(259-9494) and make a special arrangement with him.

If you haven't been to The Collectible Caboose before, it is in The Railyard, which is a shopping
center on 1431 just east of 183 in Cedar Park. His store is #304 and the store we are using
is #104 (in the first building west of Craig's store).

Thanks.
