Subject: Inquiry: West Texas 3-Rail Howdy. I was searching out train shows in Texas, and Google listed some photos which led me to y'all. Looks like you have a pretty active outfit there, and accommodate all kinds of 3-railers. Looks like fun. My wife and I have an empty nest as of this year, and I am interested in finding some others in west Texas who operate O-gauge 3-rail. Perhaps someone in your club knows of a formal or informal group out here in the wind and mesquite. We live in Sweetwater, which is 120 miles from Lubbock, 115 from Midland/Odessa, and 70 from San Angelo. I have a beautiful MTH Santa Fe passenger train, consisting of 3 E8's and a full set of 8 ABS passenger cars in the true-to-prototype all-silver. Sometimes I set up a track in the living room with O72 curves (the furniture has to be jacked up with books for clearance) but am getting ready to construct a layout. Never done this before, so it is a leap, and I feel a desire to find out more about how this ought to be done before I do it wrong. If you can direct me toward anybody out here, I'd be most grateful. I am a railroad official and am going to have to work around some very unusual hours, but would test the water if there is a group out here Tom Campbell
