Participation in GATS
I have created a new set of procedures to automate creating and updating Event Coordination Documents
in the Members Area of the TTAT web site.
Ron has created a document for the next upcoming event, The Great American Train Show. Please go to
the Members Area of the TTAT web site, view the document, and indicate your participation for this event,
EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO ATTEND.
Steps to be taken:
1. Display the TTAT web page http://www.trainweb.org/ttat
2. Click on "Members area".
3. Click on the name of the document to be viewed (Great American Train Show).
4. Click on the "Participate" button at the bottom of the page.
5. Fill in the information on the participation page. If you are not attending the event you only have to select
your name, click on the "No" button in the "Will you attend the event?" box, and click on the "Enter" button
at the bottom of the page.
6. If you are planning to bring any modules (either scenery or mainline) to the show, please indicate what modules
you are bringing. If the modules have any special requirements (like they must be behind an ABCD module),
please specify these requirements.
7. You may use the "Other Notes" section to indicate anything you think the rest of the members should know.
For example, if you are only going to be there on Sunday afternoon, you could specify that in the notes section.
8. Click on the "Enter" button at the bottom of the form.
After you have entered your information, you may change it at any time. You just have to get back to the
participation form (i.e. display the event document and select "participate"), select your name, and click on the
"Retrieve" button at the bottom of the form. This will display the information you entered previously. Make any
changes you desire and click on the "Enter" button.
