	This auction is for the complete, unused set of the 1980 Lionel Midnight Flyer train set.  Included in the set are


The 8903 Steam Engine with working headlight, 

Atlantic Coast Line sloped back Coal Tender Car, 

Great Northern Railway 9339 Box Car, 

Illinois Central Gulf 9340 Gondola Car with 2 silver cannisters,

Atlantic Coast Line square-window 9431 Caboose with Glow-in-the-Dark windows, 

Four curved and 2 straight track sections making a 27” x 36” oval,  

The 4065 Transformer Power Pack with forward reverse, Lockon and wires to complete the set.   
The box describes this as a Complete Five-Unit 027 Gauge Electric Train Set.  I assembled the set enough to confirm that the engine and its light works!  The set has never been used, and has been in storage for 20 years.  Two of the box top sides are torn at the corners (can be taped to restore shape; no portion is missing). The corrugated paper bottom is solid and without any wear or damage.  This train is from a collection of Lionel items that I am selling on ebay as I get everything identified.
