AMRE Show

Our next event will be the Alamo Model Railroad Engineers Fall Train Show.  
It will be held at the Live Oak Civic Center, 8101 Pat Booker Drive, Live 
Oak, Texas.  The show will be open to the public on Saturday October 5 from 
9:am to 4:pm and again on Sunday October 6 from 11:am to 4:pm.  On Saturday 
night from 5-8pm AMRE will be hosting a free bar-b-q picnic at the Texas 
Transportation Museum which is located at 11731 Wetmore Road.  We have been 
invited to the picnic.

Jim will be towing the trailer to Live Oak on Friday afternoon and plans on 
arriving in Live Oak by 4:pm.  The Civic Center will be open for set up from 
4:pm to 9:pm.  Ira will be the FAT Controller for the Friday night set up 
and he may choose to set up our first 'L' shape layout for this show.  At 
this time, we will be provided two tables for our layout area and a table 
for our raffle items.  Scott is leading the search for a raffle item.

Let me know:

1.) what day(s) you will be attending the show,
2.) if you plan on bringing and special modules,
3.) (by September 26) if you plan on attending the picnic,
4.) if you can be FAT Controller on Saturday or Sunday,
5.) if you plan on bringing a folding table to be used in the layout area.

We will also have an AMRE 2000 document on our web site that we will try to 
update on a weekly basis.  Check it out periodically for any updates.
