Re: agenda item: DCS purchase

I believe it can be 4 seperate transformers. 
 
I defer to Ira to descibe a usage model that works for our club.

I suggest we don't really need to hook the DCS remote up to the TMCC unit, since we already have 4 cab-1 remotes.  If someone wants to run TMCC, they use the cab-1 remote.  So we really only need the TIU base unit, plus at least one remote.   A single TIU unit will control 4 loops.  The  50-1001 item gets us the TIU unit and 1 remote for around $270.  For each additional concurrent DCS operator (meaning another remote) we spend $140 for item 50-1002.
 
I suggest we purchase 50-1001 as a start.
