Re: SAMRA show

I agree with everyone else. The show went well, the work we did on the
modules last week paid off, and like Steve, I ran on track #1 so I didn't
use the switches or yard modules but I saw a few trains pull in and out of
the yard and it looked like everything went fairly well. Good job
everyone!!

I also thought that having a layout plan drawn up before we started setting
up the modules helped a lot. Its one less thing we have to do at the show.
I'd like to continue doing this at future events. Thanks Adrian.

Adrian and I also looked at the plexiglass that was used on the layout next
to us. I think it was the SAMRA layout. They had their plexiglass setting
in grooves that looked like they were made out of indoor paneling and the
tops of the plexiglass were joined with connectors of some type. It looked
pretty sturdy and appeared as though it would be easy to put up and take
down.

--- Begin Message --- I think the show went very well.  The new yard control panel worked great, very intuitive.  The yard turnouts & crossovers were much smoother and the layout itself was smoother due to the leveling performed.  I didn't notice any power problems.  I agree on adding Plexiglas to the corners and yard crossovers.  Perhaps at the next branch creek run we could do the Plexiglas and the corner cradle. ------ TTAT members reflector. --- End Message ---
