This idea has some merit.  Although the wire from one track would be connected to plugs as either track 1 or 4, only one set of plugs would match up and the other would dangle and not make the improper connection.  So the white wire would be connected to the right track and a standard plug connection as well as to the 2nd set of plugs in the alternate track potion on the plugs.  I think this is a great solution Rick.  We would only need one wired this way because we would need 5 of the standard configuration to close an L.

How about if you make 2 wiring harnesses and reverse 1 to work the opposite way for an inside curve so that the connector plugs match the adjacent module with m/f and the inside curve would be wired for track 1, the next for track2, etc.  Only 1 would be plugged in at a time.
