Because the corner would turn end for end depending on the way it is used, the plugs would need to be opposite and only the ones that fit would be the right ones.

How about if you make 2 wiring harnesses and reverse 1 to work the opposite way for an inside curve so that the connector plugs match the adjacent module with m/f and the inside curve would be wired for track 1, the next for track2, etc.  Only 1 would be plugged in at a time.
