Bob and Jim and I went to the Temple train show Sat.  the show was pretty
dead, not a large crowd.  Sellers said no one was buying too.  They had a
modular O gauge 3 rail layout.  Put together by 3 guys, built by two of
them.  Built on 2x4 modules with 4x4 corners (cut the corners like ours)
and 2 main lines per national stds.  Had several modules turned sideways,
only 2 feet of track and had spurs  (short) on these with some buildings.
Had one area with 072 switches to transfer tracks.  Had a wooden bridge
module which was their entrance area, saves 3 " on clearance.  Used thumb
tack applied skirt.  Command Controlled.  Some accessories all added
after set up, pre wired.  Used 6' extension cords(3) for their wiring and
connections.  (Remember that we have and use 10 wires on our layout.
Set up was about 22x26 and could not use all they had because of space.
Took furniture dollies and other wheels to make frames to hold 4 modules
for transport.  have a small trailer.  Painted ballast, everything
between the tracks.  1/2" plywood deck (quieter than ours).  All painted
the same, no sky boards.  Set up in 4 to 5 hours, with 2 of them.

Not much O gauge stuff.  I did not buy anything.  I looked at two cars I
was willing to pay $80 for but only got $100 offered.  Bob bought a G
scale car.  Jim bought nothing.
