More food for thought.



Here are some pics to give you some ideas. These come from the Queen City HiRailers.

Check out how their yard connects to the layout.




I like how they scenic-ed their yard too



Seems they use pins that come down into those rollers and it holds the bridge down tight.



Lots of room for scenery if the yard went down the middle like this. Notice they have multiple modules with turnouts to switch mainlines and work their way into and out of the interior yard. They also don't have a single sky board.



They have wrecks too! Maybe make the proposed guard rails on our bridge look like girders as they have.




The Midwest Independent HiRailers layout is 72 x 94 and is the largest modular O scale layout in the country. They only have 12 members.  And two trailers.
