Re: Train Layout in Austin

Hey Steve,

Sounds like a nice layout!  I've CCed our Tinplate Trackers club membership.  Perhaps someone in our O gauge club is interested!

Club members:  If you're interested contact Steve directly at syurco@aol.com (don't just reply to this email as Steve cannot post to our list).

Cheers,

Steve Wise.

Hello,
I saw online that there was a model train group in Austin. I hope you might be able to steer me in the right direction. My Boys have headed off to college and our train layout isn't being used. I am interested in selling it if possible, as I would love some one to enjoy it, I was hoping you might know a way to find if there was any interest in something like this.
The layout was built by David Ray from Houston and the scenery etc by Karl Gibbons in Buda. It is a fully sceniced MTH layout. It measures approximately 8 x 13 feet. There is a town area, industrial area and mountain. There is an under the table loop with sidings for storage. It has multiple train operations with DCS control. There are many classic and new MTH and Lionel accessories. It can be dismantled in sections.
Any direction you can give me will be most appreciated.

Thanks,
