the gathering, aug 2, approx 8-12n

There is an event coordination document for the gathering on Aug 2.  This 
event has been discussed previously but we need to know who is going to 
participate.  It appears that Mike and Adrian are going to allow us to use 
their 4x6 portable layouts.  I have not seen these but assume track is 
attached.  If that is correct, we need power for each, several simple 'old 
time' train sets and some accessories to add live to the layouts.  I have a 
station building.  Based on past experience, the trains will run several 
times during the morning but not continuously.  In the past we have set up 
in an open area adjacent to a large activity room.  I suspect the trains 
will be running as guests arrive and during several breaks.  There will 
probably be limited interaction with the guests.

For those not familiar with this group, the purpose is to allow care givers 
several hours of save, supervised activity for those with Alzheimer's.  The 
church provides the space and everything else is donated.  FYI, the 
volunteers do this every week so activities like ours help them get a break 
also.  This is an easy run and I can assure you that the volunteers will be 
most grateful.

Please list items that you can provide so we can eliminate unnecessary 
duplication.  The 4x6's will probably be on the floor.

Ira has one small train set that he is bringing.  I'd like to have several 
so the where and tear is spread around.  There no issues with theft.  I am 
waiting to hear back on an exact start time, length of run and what entrance 
to use.
