Hi, my name is Mike Sevel and I am a volunteer at the New Braunfels Railroad Museum. I am also a member of a car club and we are scheduled to have a May lunch in our restored Pullman car. Since most of the car club members reside in the Austin area, I need to find a railroad oriented activity in that area to start our trip. I drove to Lagrange to see their restored depot but it is too far to return to NB by 1:30. In May the Austin Steam Railroad operates their train to Burnet but I heard that they do not have a museum. I am at a loss to find a rail oriented location which could also include visiting someone who has a very large model railroad layout. Got any suggestions? Thanx, Mike Sevel 830-632-9259 P.S.
