Re: Information Please

Correction.  The City Hall garage is located one block west of our location at City Hall between Lavaca and Guadalupe.  We are at the corner of 2nd St and Colorado diagonally across from the Childrens Museum.

Correct - we had several young engineers running trains last weekend with Adult supervision.  :-)

Hey Lola,

Yes, with supervision, I'm sure your great grandson could run one of our trains.

We have 2 more scheduled runs at the downtown location:  Saturday 1/8 and Saturday 1/15.  We'll be running trains from noon-5pm on both days.  Come on down!  You can park in the City Hall parking garage across the street from our location for free until 5pm.  201 W 2nd Street.

Cheers!

Steve.

PS:  Our club web site has our schedule: http://www.trainweb.org/ttat/

I have a great grandson who will be 4 in April.  He is absolutely crazy about trains. The highlight of his life thus far has been a trip to see Thomas and actually ride on the train.  I recently saw a news item about some event your club is having that is open to the public and for a $5 donation one can actually operate the trains.  Would this be something my great grandson would be able to participate in or does he need to be older?  Also, where is this going to be and when, what time, etc.  I checked out the website but didn't get much info from it.  Any info you can give me willb e greatly appreciated.
