Glad to hear the TPC's are still in there.  This new capability will surely be a big plus for the club members who have the higher power requirements  -- lotsa non-LED lights in Pax cars  -- triple headed engines pulling a hundred cars --- older engines with open frame motors, etc. etc.

When you move the banana plug to select the new transformer, it simply replaces
the "normal" transformer.  The TPC, TIU, and power monitor panel are all still
in use for that track.  So, yes, you can vary the voltage.  In fact, for a light
load you may want to dial the TPC down slightly to get the voltage down
to 18 volts.
