On a much less grand scale, my daughter claimed ownership of my K-Line gas switcher:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mr-ZPbu2DKA

The little Hudson on the main track has derailed twice b/c she learned how to use the TMCC remote all by herself (watching what I do).  She told me:  “Maya do!”, proceeded to hit the horn button like I do before starting, and then spun the throttle all the way open.  All in the 10 second before I could run across the room, there was that “kerplunk” sound of a toppled engine.  Glad it wasn’t scale……     She has since learned to keep the speed down.

She also controls the switcher via the KW, and adjusts the throttle until it’s going just the speed she wants.

Here's another one from the same guy.  He has a great attitude as evidenced in this video and on the OGR Forum.  And Rick, he can put a 100 car train in the hole while running another 100 car train and says he routinely pulls 15 amp loads while running trains.

For any of you who are interested in seeing and knowing more about this guy and his layout, his OGR Forum handle is "Thom Zemanek".  The forum posting is "Weekend at the Movies 12/17/2010"  under "3-Rail O-Gauge Trains".
