I just use electrolytic grease from an auto parts supply house.  They come in little packs for the home do-it-yourselfer for spark plugs, and in big tubes for professionals.  DO be careful not to get it on the track tops.  It is a grease and acts like it.

I'm working on my Christmas layout and have decided to reassemble my track from scratch.  Some time ago I heard that there was a grease/oil? that had high electric conductivity and was perfect for assembling these older tracks.  Does anyone out there know what this might be?  A name or supplier would be great.  Many thanks in advance for any help.          Don Newman
