Fun Run at Bill's Overland Pacific Layout. Saturday 24 July 2010

Hi Trackers,

There will be a Club sponsored Fun Run on my Overland Pacific Railway Layout on Saturday, 24 July 2010 from 10 am to 6 pm.

If you plan to attend it would be a big help if you would sign up as soon as possible on the TTAT website Coordination Document.  If you're not attending we'd appreciate knowing this, too.

For those of you who haven't been to previous events here, the layout is around the walls in our 32 X 17 feet train room.  All trackage is complete.  Many structures are in place and scenery will hopefully come soon.

Layout is primarily for operating lots of Command equipped engines simultaneously.  (Legacy, TMCC and MTH DCS)   But, we can easily run Conventional engines - just can't mix them with command engines.  So, you're most welcome to bring conventional engines and we'll designate plenty of time for you to run them.  It's all about the fun WE can have running  the great variety of ALL of our trains!   Old, new and in between.

Please bring your own beverages.  I'll have a large cooler all iced down and ready!  We'll take up a collection and order pizza from our top notch neighborhood pizza place in early afternoon.  This has worked out well in the past.

We're located south of the Colorado River and west of Loop 360 at:
9807 Lake Ridge Drive
Austin TX 78733.

DIRECTIONS:  If you need additional directions you're most welcome to call me at 512-663-4599 (mobile). Directions are also on Coordination Document.
