Re: Legacy V1.3 Preliminary Testing

I mentioned the 4 TPC limitation at the Legacy users gorup in York.  I gave Steve an email to inquire about a solution.  I will use information provided by Ira to inquire about the club's issues too.

Thanks for the offer.  I have it under control.  But, you're always  welcome over here.

I saw an OGR post within the last couple of days citing a 4 TPC limit on Legacy.  I understand that the DZ-2001 unit may have an impedance mis match with the TPC inputs and may be hogging the signal or rather attenuating it for the TPC's.  But, just thought I'd mention the posting I saw.  Is the cabling a daisy chain, series topology or a star topology to all five devices?

Are you planning on going to the May 15 TCA show in Garden Ridge?

Hi Steve,
You're welcome to load v1.3 using these modules if you wish.  I was under the impression that you're not using Legacy?

I intend to use Legacy again once I resolve the issues with driving 4 TPCs + the Z-stuff DZ-2001 unit.

As for being registered.  When I received my Legacy with the Big Boy as a package deal there was a note in the box to be sure and register to receive the modules.  So, I did and I received a set.  I wouldn't count of them putting you on the list because of a repair.  I'd call them.

Ok I'll call them.

BTW am working on double tracking the front corner by the entry door.  This will give me two independent loops -- the upper one with sidings and the inner loop that goes down through the valley and then back along side the upper one with two crossovers on the engine terminal side.  Big job as is.  The total double tracking was just not practical.

Sounds fun!  If you want help, hollar!
