Ira,
I used the wrong name, but I meant the Power Master. If we use more Power Masters instead of TPCs we don't need to run the serial lines which I understood was the problem as currently diagnosed.
If I understood correctly we were trying to use 5 TPCs and the system limitation is 4 due to the signal strength from the serial port on the Command Base.
Convert one of the TPCs to a power master and we should be fine, correct?
If that is not an option maybe we can get a serial port signal booster to try out.
If it works great if not we'll figure out something else.

Subject: Re: Track Power Controllers
I am sorry. Steve is correct.
The TMCC Command Base receives the commands from the CAB-1
handheld controllers and sends the commands to the Legacy Command Base
via a dedicated serial port (i.e. independent of the serial port used
to send commands to the TPCs). The Legacy Command Base
receives commands from the CAB-2 handheld controllers and
sends the appropriate commands (i.e. TMCC or Legacy) to
the engines and TPCs.
Thank you Steve.
Ira
