Club update

As an update on some of the recent email strings over the past few weeks,
I want to provide everyone with what I hope will be closure on the
issues.

The uninvolved board members and its advisor agreed to ask Ira for his
resignation from the board of directors of the club.  Ira complied with
this request and resigned from the board.  Bill Lohman agreed to stay on
in his role as director and the board appointed Dave Gold as a
replacement Board member, to fulfill the remainder of Ira's term.  

We will have elections this fall as usual for the expiring term board
members.

I hope that we all can get past this time and enjoy participating in the
club as we jointly expand our presence in the hobby.  The board of
directors is committed to improving the layout and its operation by
vetting out all ideas and moving forward with consensus improvements,
well thought out and efficient in using the club's limited resources.
