DCS and Legacy Familiarization Session (at Bill's)
Hi Trackers,
Only two weeks until the Saturday, August 22nd Familiarization Session at my Overland Pacific Railway. A great opportunity for all of us, regardless of skill level, to learn more about DCS and Legacy -- just in time for the Fall Train Show season!! For Example:
- With Legacy or DCS once all engines are entered into the Club Systems we won't have to manually keep track of and remember our engine numbers at all. They're in the systems for us. (Not sure about an upper limit of addresses!! Hmmmm)
- With Legacy it's much, much easier to build a multi-engine lash-up using multiple TMCC engines, multiple Legacy engines and/or a combination of both. It's a snap. Come over and see for yourself. Multi-engine lash-ups have just gotta be real crowd pleasers. Just imagine how splendid a lengthy reefer consist pulled by, say, two Challengers and two Big Boys would look. (How many engines does it take to exceed the power rating of the track we're running on. Hmmm)
Anyhow, thanks go to those of you who have already signed up. Hope a whole bunch more of you sign and come on over and join us.
Would help me with planning if you would give a "yes" or "no" on the Coordination Document when you're sure of your attendance. But, if you can't decide until the last minute due to circumstances beyond your control, that's okay too. You're always welcome on the Overland Pacific right of way!!
Regards,
Bill
