Greetings,
Just getting into the train activity with my grandson and would like to loin
your group. I bought some old stuff off e-bay and want to get involved
with some people who are either doing repairs or know someone who knows a
bit about finding parts and how to proceed with repairing older
stock.
Regards,
Don Newman (don448@aol.com)
Hey Don,
Our annual club
membership is $50/year. We have a large modular layout that we setup and
run periodically at train shows, fun runs, and such. Our next public
event is the TCA Annual Train Meet on May 16th at the New Braunfels Civic
Center. Come down to that show and meet folks. Bring your train if
you want to run on our layout for a little while.
As for train repairs,
I've CC'ed the club membership list and maybe someone can reply to you
directly. You can also talk to Craig Berry at the Collectible Caboose,
which is located at The Railyard in Cedar Park (on 1431 near 183).
Craig's phone number there is 512-259-9494. He can probably point you to
repair services around town.
CU!
Steve Wise.
