World's Greatest Hobby On Tour in San Antonio

Hi,

The World's Greatest Hobby On Tour show will be in San Antonio on February 21
and 22, 2009.  We are participating in the show.

Please sign up on the event coordination document
(http://aoot.com/ttat/private/display_event_data.cgi?fileName=_2009) so we know
who will be there.  We especially need to determine how many people will be
there to set up the layout on Friday night and who can tow the trailer to and/or from
San Antonio.

Please note that this event is at theHenry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio,
not the Live Oak Civic Center.  There is no free parking at the Convention Center,
so we will have to pay for parking.  It would be advisible for people to carpool to the
event to minimize expenses.  You can find parking information on the Convention Center's
web site (http://www.sanantonio.gov/convfac/general/parking.asp).

Also, if you are interested in staying over in San Antonio, I did a little research on
motels close to the Riverwalk.  (I am not endorsing any of these - I just checked on
motel chains that I previously used.)  Here is what I found:

     Super 8 Downtown (Riverwalk)
     1614 N St. Mary's St.
     Friday - $101.96
     Saturday - $84.96
     This is 15% off the best available rate by prepaying for two nights

     Comfort Suites Downtown
     1002 S. Laredo
     $99.99 / night (standard rate)

     Comfort Suites Alamo/Riverwalk
     505 Live Oak Street
     $149.99 / night (standard rate)

I am sure there are less expensive motels in the area - I just checked on these chains.

Please let us know ASAP if you will be attending this event.
