Re: Does TTAT have visiting hours?

Oops:  The running hours are 1-5pm, not noon-4pm.

We'll be in Austin over the Christmas holidays with family.  I'd like to bring my grandson, a Thomas junkie, to see your layout.  Are there any hours when visitors can drop by?

Hello Stewart,

Our club modular layout is currently setup at the Railyard in Cedar Park.  Here is a map:

http://www.trainweb.org/ttat/railyard.html

We try to run each Saturday.  Looks like we're confirmed to be running at least saturday 12/6, 12/13, and 12/20.   Feel free to come by.   Running hours are noonish - 4pm.

Nearby in the same shopping center, is a great toy train shop: The Collectible Caboose (512-259-9494).  They have THOMAS. :)

Also, I've been searching for other model RR clubs in the area, but haven't had any luck.  Is there an HO or N club anywhere in Austin?  If you have any information, web links, etc., it would be most appreciated.

N club: AustNtrak:  http://www.austntrak.org/

G club: Heart of Texas G-Gaugers: http://www.trainweb.org/hotg/index.html

On30 club: The On30 Hill Country Outlaws: http://www.frolin.net/txng/groups/HCO-On30.html

I don't know of any HO club in Austin.

Happy Holidays!
