Great News! Finally! Guys, I have received permission from the landlord here at
The Railyard to use some empty rental space for as long as it remains
vacant. He said that, based on his current prospects (or lack thereof),
it should be no problem for us to use it through the end of the year. The
only stipulation he has is that the club is available to move out within 48
hours or so, in the event that the space leases. I know you have started making plans for Branchcreek, but I
hope you would consider coming up here. I’d love your
company! Plus, it would be REAL convenient for Ricky! I will just
have to remind him that he works here, not there! J The space is where Kids Korner used to be between the Vet’s
office and Curves in the back building. Ricky and I have spec’d out
the place and it looks like the front will hold a 3x3 with an “L”
extension. We can go over this with whoever the FAT Controller is (Ira?).
There is also a small room adjacent to the layout area where you can put the 4’x8’
layout, and if anyone has a TV/DVD player that they’d like to bring, we
could play train DVDs in that room, too. Plus, because of the way the
space is configured, the back portion of the space will be offered to the On30
