I enjoy being a member for the informative newsletters they send out with information you don't easily find anywhere else. There is also a record keeping and arbitration function to the group to help protect you in transactions with other TCA members. When I go to a meet and I want to buy something I show them my TCA membership information and put my number on the check. I also ask for theirs.
In addition, most people will tell you that admittance to TCA only member meets like the one in York, PA or the National meet in San Antonio a year ago are big benefits.
I think there may also be discounted admission to the national TCA Toy Train Museum.
You need two sponsors to apply. I would be happy to be listed on your
application.
