Scott, I just bought the MI Trains software instead of Train Tracker. It was nearly as highly rated and I decided against Train Tracker because they have no plans to update their Lionel/MTH catalogs past the 2004 year whereas MI Trains is current through 2007 with updates several times a year. I have been using Train Tracker for many years and updates. I like the program and data although they have some thing in it that keeps up their security of the program so does not have some flexibility it could. They have added a lot of other manufacturers lately to their data base but you buy them separately but it does avoid slower entry describing your own pieces which it does allow. We have several in the club who do repairs and with my Dad's inventory, I have a large source of parts available. Over the summer I hope to get a better handle on exactly what he has. I've been into O Gauge since I was a child. I started with my father's 671 set from 1947, and a 2025 and prewar 1666 set. 30 years later, I've built up the collection to include a mix of Lionel, Marx, Ives, MTH & Williams. Ages range from 1927 to current. I have some freight, but I can't seem to find a passenger set I don't like. I've never had a permanent layout, just a fold-out x-mas display and a 6'x12' modular display for my store. I look forward to meeting you all. It's great to be around people that enjoy the hobby and don't think I'm a freak. I've always done my own repairs, and would be happy to help anyone out any way that I can. Anyone have any inventory software recommendations? Is anyone Southwest? We live in Oak Hill.
