Surplus items

With some of the recent changes made by the club, there are a few items
that have become surplus and it would be good to sell these to anyone
that would like them to recoup some of the club's investment in them.
The following items are the ones I can remember so let me know if you
have an interest in any of these items. Although we will retire two of
the old corner modules, these were Jim Smiley's and have been sent to his
place but if there is some interest in the old corners I am sure some
arrangement could be made.

Large rubbermaid Trash can with wheel and lid, dumpster style
Lionel Power master
Lionel Power Master
K-line O gauge uncoupling track with button (2)
45 degree cross over ( 2)

Let me know your interest and value you will pay and we can distribute
items at the SAMRA show to get them out of the trailer.

Well for those of you that missed it, we had a very successful fun run
and work day this past week end at the Branch Creek Club house. A lot of
track time was available mostly on Sunday though. After a little miscue
on getting the trailer to the clubhouse, we were able to get the layout
set up with the two new corner modules. WE left the other new ones out
of the layout so some wiring could be done. Two sockets were added to
the one corner without any. The new corners worked great. One work
group added Plexiglass holders on to them and then the Velcro after
adding leg sockets. The new corners are complete.

Another project accomplished was to add a shelf to the trailer so we can
store some of the smaller items we do not use very often and get them out
of our way routinely.

Ira swapped out the new TPC 3000 units for the Lionel Power masters in
the power box. Additionally, the melted plug was changed out on the main
chord ( it would not fit into the new sockets in its condition) And a
surge protector was added to the output of the transformers.

WE saw a new Harry potter set, lots of coal and ore cars, Bud cars,
really long UP passenger train, Nascar, and a few other new items from
various members. Santa must come early to train lovers.

A good time was had by all even with the hard work.
