AMRE Fall Train Show

The AMRE Fall Train Show is a little more than two weeks away (October 6th and 7th).

If you haven't already done so, please indicate your participation (or lack thereof) on
the web page (http://aoot.com/ttat/private/display_event_data.cgi?fileName=AMRE_2007).
So far, only four people have signed up for Saturday and five for Sunday.

Also, please let me know if you can commit to setting up the layout on Friday afternoon
or evening.  We have three people (me, Oliver, and Mike B.) who can be there at 5:00 PM
on Friday, and Oliver said he can tow the trailer.  If we can get at least one other person
we can set up on Friday.

Last week, we set up in Temple on Saturday morning.  The show didn't open until
10:00 AM and we scheduled set up for 8:00 AM.  Scott arrived with the trailer a little
after 8:00 AM.  We unloaded the trailer and set up the main portion of the layout
by the time the show opened.  However, we were still debugging problems and setting
up incidentals (i.e. scenery, sky boards, etc.) until almost noon.

The AMRE show opens at 9:00 AM on Saturday morning.  If we want to set up on Saturday,
we have to be there at 7:00 AM.  Again, we would only have two hours to completely set up
the layout.  I would much rather set up on Friday afternoon (or early evening) and leave
Saturday morning available for completion, debugging, cleaning track, etc.

Please let me know via email if you can be at live Oak on Friday afternoon, either
around 5:00 PM, 7:00 PM, or some other time that we can agree on for set up.
