Re: proposal for standard industry modules



I like the idea that of having more industrial modules, but we have one major problem that we should solve first.   The power dropping issue on the tracks.  During our monthly board meeting it was reported that on the small lay out that we are running at present, the power drop has been minimized.  The industrial modules will require larger layouts.  We are doing some testing of new transformers that are helping to alleviate the power problem, but we have not resolved the power problem.

I like the idea for both the industry modules ( especially the idea for the grain elevator) and the transition / switch modules. Not everyone has to use them but having the options increases what we can do as a club to have fun running trains. Which isn't that the point?
