warning
I was using track 4 and turned the switch on the powermaster to command
to see if it made a difference and forgot to turn it back to
conventional. If some one puts a conventional engine on the track and
then hits boost it will get full power.
The next guy into the layout should turn the switch back to conventional.
Thanks.
Scott

After today I agree that we need to do something. My new engine would
not run on track 4 but my Dad's would this afternoon but earlier would
not. I understand that Russ had problems on track 3 too. I had
flickering lights and the engine would not keep moving. I took it over
to Craig's track it ran great. Also at home everything worked, including
the sound system which was quiet on ours.
Some ideas to consider:
Connect the outside rails on modules with Kline shadow rail, the stuff
with plastic ties.
Convert one of the extra wires to an additional ground loop and connect
it into the ground system on all modules.
Replace or add a new Wire harness around the track, bigger wire and new
plugs
The doubler looks interesting and does not sound too expensive. WE could
try one and see if we notice a difference before adding one to all
tracks.
Is there any way that the TMCC signal is getting messed up by the DCS
system? I thought we determined that they worked completely differently.
Could a base unit get worn out? A power master go bad and mess up the
signals?
