WOW!!!!! 844 is coming to Austin! She hasn't been in TX
since the 1981 worlds fair in New Orleans. Then she only traveled across
east TX. I can't wait!
In other news, a friend of mine rode the TX State RR last week. He
said it was a beautiful ride. He also mentioned that there were petitions
being circulated to stop the state from closing down the railroad (state park
budget cuts). Has anyone heard about this?
I can make the meeting on the 4th.
