This is the first time I have been able to sit down to check my emails in a
month. I've been working some crazy hours and had to choose sleep over
emails. I saw John at Craig's last week and mentioned to him about a
small trailer that I saw near Freescale. I went by there today and
got the info. It's a 5x8x7 enclosed with a ramp. Looks like about
6ft height inside. Asking $1300.00 OBO. looks fairly new. I
will call tomorrow for specifics (age, manufactor, etc). I was hoping to
come by the layout today but got busy with work and just couldn't make it.
I think we should do SAMRA even if we are still at the Railyard. It's
always a good show and we don't get a chance to set up a big L-shape very
often. We will need to do some repairs to one of the old corners. I
finished the trackwork on the trans module, but have not had time to do any
scenery yet.
Ricky found some interesting pics on line. It seems there was a
hotbox on a UP coal train up in Kansas and they stopped the train on a wooden
trestle. It proceeded to catch the bridge on fire and eventually
collapsed. Ask Ricky for the website if you're interested.
